This is our 8th year raising heritage turkeys for your family’s holiday table. These stately turkeys are recognized by the Slow Food International's Ark of Taste for their unique flavor as well as their cultural significance. Our birds have lush pasture where they enjoy worms, flies, mosquitos, and other bugs. Garden vegetables, apples from our orchard, and organic grain supplement their diet. Last year we added spent grain from One Barrel Brewing Company – a Madison craft brewery – to the menu. They have access to fresh water and shelter. Our local, sustainable, slow approach produces a delicious turkey, worthy of their heritage status. After six years of raising various heritage breeds we decided to go with the overwhelming favorite, Bourbon Red. We are also keeping a limited number of standard bronze on pasture for those who want a very large bird. Our turkeys are processed in a Certified Organic facility and will weigh between 8 and 25 pounds.

2014 prices will be available in July
